The Carriage House – A Historic Hideaway
Perched above what was once the estate’s wagon wheel carriage garage, this charming one-bedroom, one-bath home is rich with history and character. Originally home to the estate’s carriage driver, the space still features the original wood flooring, worn with time and story.
Inside, you can spot the markings where a fireplace once stood—the very place where the driver would chop kindling to keep warm. Though the fireplace is gone, the warmth of the space remains.
Quiet, cozy, and full of rustic charm, this quaint hideaway is ideal for a peaceful stay. Please note: guests must be able to navigate stairs, as the unit is accessible only from above.
